Why not bring your Cub, Sout, Brownie or Guide group to one of our nature reserves for an evening or Saturday session to discover more about the wildlife that lives around us.
Work towards one of your badges such as the Wildlife Explorer or the Global Conservation Activity Badge.
We can deliver a variety of activities such as pond dipping, bat walks, woodland activities, conservation tasks, building bird boxes and feeding stations.
Charges for a 2 hour visit to Rainton Meadows or Low Barns Nature Reserves are £2 per child (for a minimum of 18 children) or £35 fixed rate if less than 18 children attending.
Charges for an outreach visit will vary.
Please contact Kirsty Pollard kpollard@durhamwt.co.uk, 0191 584 3112 to discuss how your group can get involved.
