Durham Wildlife Trust’s aim is a simple one – to protect wildlife for the future. Our local wildlife is threatened by many factors from climate change to the pressures placed on our landscape by a growing population so we need your support today to overcome the challenges we face.We are a charity that works in County Durham, the City of Sunderland and the Boroughs of Gateshead, South Tyneside and Darlington. Income from membership enables us to manage local nature reserves, to deliver conservation projects to protect our region’s wildlife and to provide education and volunteering opportunities for thousands of children and adults every year.
