REALLY WILD PARTIES AT RAINTON MEADOWS NATURE RESERVE.

Let Durham Wildlife Trust take the strain – we host action packed, fun filled parties for children and young people from 3-13 years old on our beautiful nature reserve just off the A690 near Houghton-le-Spring. Parties are tailor made to suit your requirements and can include pond dipping, mini beast hunts, bird watching, themed games and activities, party food, birthday cake, and goodie bags to take home.

Parties can last an hour or two or be a whole day of wildlife activities. Minimum number of children is 6 with a maximum of 24 and there must be at least 1 adult with every 6 children. It costs £7 per hour per child for the first 2 hours, which includes an experienced leader, all activities, equipment and room hire. For longer events the price is on a sliding scale from £5.00 - £3.00 per head per hour. You can bring your own food or we can arrange catering for you from £5.00 per head. A birthday cake can be provided from £25.00 and goodie bags from £3.00 each. There is a 10% reduction on all party costs for Durham Wildlife Trust members

We have 40 hectares of grassland, woodland, wildflower meadows and ponds in which to keep the children happily amused for hours while you enjoy the scenery and let us do the work. We have an indoor area in case of bad weather and all areas are wheelchair and buggy friendly.
