The Visitor Centre displays and toilet facilities are open to members of the public from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday and 11 to 4 at Weekends and on bank holidays. The centre is closed over Christmas and New Year.
Rainton Meadows is also the home to Beckwith's, a coffee shop run in partnership with Sunderland Council Provider Services. Beckwith's provides hot and cold drinks, confectionary, crisps and a range of wildlife related products for sale, including books and birdfood.
Beckwith's relies on support from volunteers, so if you'd like to get involved please call the Trust on 0191 584 3112.
