This indoor workshop will show you the different techniques used to preserve indoor flowers, leaves, fruits,seeds and bark from diffrent natural habitats. These techniques would be easy enough to be used at home as a learning tool for keen botanists or for the general wildlife lover that wants to learn a bit more.
The course will start with a brief illustrated talk about herbariums in botanical gardens and universtities and then move on to hands-on herbaria making.
